A bamboo built building product known as GRASSBuilt is being factory-made at alittle plant in Meridian, Miss. The proprietary technology, in hand by TimTek, LLC and commissioned to GRASSBuilt LLC, involves merging long strands, known as textile, coating with adhesives and steam–pressing to supply bamboo billets, that ar any processed for varied end-uses.
“Applying the TimTek method to bamboo has extremely tested to be the right wedding,” says bishop Wight, vice chairman of GRASSBuilt. “The method ends up in what will be delineate as ‘super bamboo,’ and is extraordinary as a base artefact for superstructures, flooring, cabinetry, furnishings and a bunch of different prospects.”
Creating a completely integrated and numerous bamboo economy in North America is that the vision of GRASSBuilt innovation partner, Sean Hemmings. “I’ve been concerned within the bamboo trade for over eight years,” Hemmings says. “Worldwide, bamboo represents a $30 billion trade for China alone.
